Hello, I'm Ruby, from NUTC. This is the first year I come to this school. I wish I will have a  good time in NTUB.
I am an easygoing girl, I like to chat with my friends. If I have free time, I usually go shopping and eat sweet food in Taipei street.
In sum, I am very happy to take  this course.

Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - Shallow I like this song because of the movie "A star is born". It's the theme song      of  the  movie. This song is talking about the man and female lead striving for breakthroughs in  their careers and emotional lives.   One piece of lyrics impressed me： I’m falling In all the good times I find myself longin' for change And in the bad times I fear myself I'm off the deep end, watch as I dive in I'll never meet the ground Crash through the surface, where they can't hurt us We're far from the shallow now In the shallow, shallow We're far from the shallow now There is no specific situation in the lyrics, so we have more imagination of it. I like this very much! Through this song, I think it gives me more courage to meet challenges, and always do myself. Don't be afraid to step out of the comfort zone.

#5 Is tourism harmful - vocabulary & review

VOCABULARY 1. clampdown noun (c) a sudden action taken by a government or people in authority to stop or limit a particular activity： EX. Following the military coup, there has been a clampdown on press reporting in the capital. 2. fountain noun (c) a stream of water that is forced up into the air through a small hole, especially for decorative effect, or the structure in a lake or pool from which this flows： EX. There was a picture of the Trevi fountain on the front of the book. REVIEW In my opinion, if we visit the tourist attractions, we need to respect these places. Because these tourist attractions nearby are also the resident's habitation. In addition, direct consumption and indirect consumption brought by tourism can not only improve economic income, but also increase employment opportunities, so  I think tourism is not harmful. Moreover,  Travel can ease the pressure of work and life, and at the same time get mental relaxation, it's good for our life.
